A B O U T

Until the episode "Grade School Confidential" aired, Edna and Seymour were highly contentuous rivals who often fought about Springfield Elementary's bugetary issues. After having a tete-a-tete in Martin Prince's pink playhouse, the two educators fell for one another and began dating. After their relationship causes controversy among the school's parents, they fake a break up. Eventually, somehow, the news that they're still together comes out. They date steadily until the episode "Special Edna," where they become engaged. After a year-long courtship, Seymour gets cold feet on their wedding day during "My Big Fat Geek Wedding", and they break up. Lately, it's been hinted that they're seeing each other on-and-off, and it's no secret that Seymour carries a torch for his old flame.
